Tragically, surviving increased acts of war and terror globally means that health care systems have overwhelming challenges, some never seen before in history.
While our goals include helping to meet and cope with these new realities, the demand at times can exceed the supply of essential services such as available organ donors, specialists, facilities and / or financial resources.
Qualifying survivors of uniquely complex catastrophic injury suffering devastation and trauma and their families in crisis, are eligible for support.
WAR WOUNDED VETERANS - post-9/11 Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coast and National Guardsmen, reservists of the United States Armed Forces and their allies directly involved in the fight against terrorism suffering loss or destruction of limbs, hands, genitals, internal organs, facial disfigurement, burns, skull, spinal cord, skeletal, other injuries including severe scarring, PTSD and TBI.
1st RESPONDERS and INNOCENT CIVILIANS who are INJURED SURVIVORS of a TERRORIST ATTACK suffering devastating and traumatic injuries including loss or destruction of limbs, hands, genitals, internal organs, facial disfigurement, burns, skull, spinal cord, skeletal, other injuries including severe scarring, PTSD and TBI.
A CHILD with TRAUMATIC INJURY and/or a CATASTROPHIC INJURY sustained in Childhood - including loss or destruction of limbs, hands, genitals, internal organs, facial disfigurement, amputations, burns, skull, spinal cord, skeletal and other injuries including severe scarring, PTSD and TBI.
