OPERATION TOTAL RESTORATION
Helping with costs not covered by insurance
Some insured survivors may have additional requirements for certain medical care they are seeking. We ask survivors to please contact their insurance company to verify coverage prior to requesting financial support services.
Other expenses that may occur related to therapy may include follow-up medical appointments, long-term medications, tests to find an unrelated donor or cord blood unit, caregiver expenses, travel, parking, lodging, transportation, adaptive housing and medical equipment.
For many, these costs are overwhelming. We cannot promise to cover ALL the uncovered costs. We offer financial assistance prioritized on the basis of the most vital medical need for specific uncovered costs. We provide a total amount towards each of the uncovered costs anticipated and determine the total out-of-pocket we can assist with prior to beginning an individual fundraising campaign.
We ask donors to pledge a monthly contribution to help pay these costs.
After survivors learn about their insurance coverage, they can begin to determine what costs will not be covered by insurance.
